Water on Earth: A Geologic Story

Water is an incredibly important agent in the Earth system. This course will explore why it is imperative for us to understand the complex and beautiful ways in which rivers, streams, and floods change Earth's surface over time. In addition to examining surface water, students will also study aquifers and learn how to manage depletion and contamination of "fossil water" that is stored in groundwater systems.
