Ideal for hiring managers and HR professionals, this course provides an exploration of essential talent management topics, including talent acquisition, total rewards and HR administration. Participants will focus on key areas such as recruiting strategies, employer branding, conducting legally compliant interviews, addressing interviewer bias, and optimizing onboarding and orientation processes for employee retention. Additionally, the course covers the fundamentals of compensation and benefits programs, employee leave management, and HR administration topics like HR metrics, record-keeping responsibilities, reporting and posting requirements, OSHA compliance, and promoting a healthy work environment.
Engaging activities and real-world examples reinforce learning, while practical resources equip students to apply their knowledge in HR and managerial roles. Aligned with the SHRM Body of Knowledge, students who complete this course will be eligible for 11.75 SHRM Professional Development Credits (PDCs).
