Foundation Paper Piecing and Quilting    NEW!

Students will learn the basics of foundation paper piecing and quilting by creating a small quilted blanket. Students will develop their skills around using their sewing machine, creating quilt blocks, attaching the quilt blocks and binding the quilt. This course will also introduce the concepts around quilt block design.

    Students will learn the basics of foundation paper piecing and quilting by creating a small quilted blanket. Students will develop their skills around using their sewing machine, creating quilt blocks, attaching the quilt blocks and binding the quilt. This course will also introduce the concepts around quilt block design.

    There is no book required for this course. Students will be required to bring their own sewing machine and purchase fabric, batting, thread.

    Supply list:

    • Sewing machine
    • All purpose thread
    • Batting "craft size" 36"x46"
    • A fat quarter bundle of fabric with at least 12 colors
    • 1 yard of fabric for the backing

        *Students can wait until after the first class to buy fabric and batting
