Explore your creativity with acrylic paint. This course is for all levels of art education experience. Learn about composition, depth perception and how to mix colors to create images on canvas. Students will paint with acrylic and create something that is uniquely their own on canvas.
Supply List:
- Set of flat and angle art brushes
- Disposable palette pad
- Jar with lid for water cup
- Paper towels and bar of artist soap to clean brushes
- Set of acrylic paints that include titanium white, mars black, ultramarine blue, phthalo blue yellow and red

Study perception, drawing from observation, perspective, and advanced concepts of space in drawing with assignments and in-depth individual projects. Looking for a fun, informative and stress-free introduction to drawing? This class introduces the fundamentals of how to sketch and draw beginning with materials and equipment and then focusing on the five fundamentals of drawing: line, shape, value, edge, and perspective. Students will use common, everyday objects from which to draw beginning with single objects and adding complexity as the student develops competency and confidence. Class is a combination of lecture, demonstration and one-on-one feedback. Work at your own pace. No drawing skills or experience is required.
