This course introduces students to the Korean language and culture through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Designed for learners with little or no prior knowledge of Korean, the course focuses on building a strong foundation in everyday communication while exploring cultural topics such as customs, holidays, etiquette, food, and traditional arts.
You will learn essential vocabulary, basic sentence patterns, and simple conversational skills through interactive activities, including role-playing, Korean calligraphy, and craft-making. By the end of the course, you will be able to use basic Korean vocabulary and common expressions in everyday situations, introduce yourself, ask and answer simple questions, and understand key aspects of Korean culture and relate them to language use.
