Spanish 1 is an introductory course for learners with little or no prior experience in the language. Students will develop basic communication skills, including greeting others, introducing themselves, and asking simple questions in Spanish. Learners will also explore cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking world while building confidence speaking and interacting in Spanish. Students will learn to speak, read, and write Spanish using basic vocabulary and expressions in the present tense.
