Flagger Certification Training
LOCATION OF TRAINING: Big Bend Community College Campus, Room TBA. View BBCC Campus Map. Please Note: There is FREE parking in all lots at BBCC.
START TIME: Training will begin promptly at 8:00am.
LUNCH: There will be a lunch break, but time will be at the discretion of the trainer. Lunch is the responsibility of each trainee. There are deli’s close by: Maggies Kitchen and JetAway Deli at the airport if you need to purchase food. There are also quick, frozen items, snacks, and beverages in vending machines as well as the Viking Eatery & Coffee Bar located in the 1800 building.
END TIME: Training will be completed no later than 5:00pm, dependent on when you finish your test.
*Trainee registrations and payments must be received prior to arrival at the training facility. If your employer is covering the cost of your registration, all payment arrangements should be coordinated directly between your employer and CBIS.
All training materials will be provided once you have checked in at the training classroom. We highly recommend bringing a pen and paper to take notes. At the conclusion of the course, you will complete an open-book, multiple‑choice exam. If you successfully pass the exam, your flagger card will be issued to you the same day.
