BMCC Language Immersion for International Students (BLIIS) - Summer   

Welcome All ESL students who are interested in our Summer Open ESL BLIIS Academic Intensive program.

Summer BLIIS is an academic ESL program. For the Summer session, BMCC opens this academic program to the community. Though it continues to be for those who need intensive study in academic English before they embark on credit-bearing courses in college, all non-college bound students are encouraged to attend this summer intensive. Students will improve their reading, writing, listening and oral communication skills in a serious academic setting.

BMCC International students can use this summer session to improve their testing scores before the Fall semester. And the community/public students who want to experience an immersion academic program are welcome to join our June or July session.

To register, follow these steps:

1. Make sure you have been accepted to a CUNY school.  If not, you can apply to BMCC at this link. There may still be time to complete your application if you have already started one!
2. Create an account with Continuing Education at BMCC.  You can follow the directions below:
   1. Visit www.bmcc.cuny.edu/ce 
   2. On the left column click on “Courses”
   3. On the purple banner click on “Sign-In”
   4. Complete the “Create new account” section (Please be sure to make a note of your Username and Password)
   5. Click on the “Create account” tab which will take you to the “Create New Account: My Information” page
   6. Complete form, then hit “submit”
3. Register and pay for your class over the phone with a Continuing Education Bursar Team member. The telephone numbers are below, and you can call during regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 9:00am to 5:00pm:
