Emergency Medical Technician Basic   

This EMT-Basic original course is designed to prepare the student to provide urgent care at emergency sites or in an ambulance during hospital transport. Students enrolled in this class will receive training on all necessary emergency medical care skills needed to fulfill duties as a New York State basic level EMT with an ambulance service or other specialized medical service.  There is an option to pursue a National EMT certification and this class meets that requirement.  This EMT-Basic course covers topics such as trauma management, emergency childbirth delivery, oxygen administration, triage, and cardiac arrest treatment.  American Heart Association BCLS for Healthcare Provider class is included in the course. 

This class will be in-person. Non-refundable fee of $75 included in tuition. Textbooks are not included.
