Intermediate Structured Query Language (SQL) for Data Analytics   

Expand your database knowledge to learn more advance techniques to manage and query data. A greater understanding of the SQL language will enable you to read or create more than the most basic queries. Course Objectives

Students will learn how to query a relational database for information, analysis using Transact-SQL and fundamentals of administrating SQL Server.

Course Introduction to SQL or equivalent

  8. Creating, dropping, and altering constraints
  9. Understanding primary, foreign, and composite keys
  10. Understanding clustered and non-clustered indexes
  11. Understanding the five levels of normalization
  12. Understanding server level security
  13. Understanding database level security
  14. Understanding Windows security
  15. Understanding SQL security
  16. Creating, dropping, and altering logins, users, roles
  17. Granting access to a database
  18. Understanding fixed database roles
