AZ-500 Microsoft Azure Security Technologies   

This course teaches IT Professionals how to manage their security posture across Azure and within their cloud and on-prem solutions. The course covers an end-to-end look at each of the security tools, how to deploy and configure them, and what scenarios they are primarily used for. The security engineer will configure security settings, manage secure identities, build and administer firewalls, configure access policies, and monitor the solution.

 

Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Secure identities with Azure Active Directory and users and groups.
  • Deploy and maintain identity protection and privileged identity in Microsoft Azure.
  • Configure and manage network and perimeter security solutions to protect your Azure environment.
  • Analyze your security with Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Manage the security of any hosts and containers running in your environment.
  • Configure Azure Monitor and Microsoft Defender for Clouds to protect monitor security operations.
