This conference provides preK-16 science, math, and STEM educators, educational leaders, and administrators the opportunity to share in a community of learning in support of strong STEM teaching and learning. Teachers, educational leaders and administrators, and university faculty are all encouraged attend and share in the exciting, innovative, and effective classroom activities, practices, and programs happening in local classrooms, schools, and districts. The theme for this year’s conference is Expanding Opportunities for Student Engagement in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Learning. The Bradley University Center for STEM Education takes a broad definition of STEM education, to include the individual disciplines of science, mathematics and engineering, as well as integrated learning experiences that bring together multiple STEM disciplines and/or the arts (STEAM), and seeks to engage a wide range of STEM education stakeholders.
