    Classes will be conducted “tout en français!”  Participants will have the opportunity to have FUN with and freshen up their French skills, whether they spoke French at home as a youth, studied in school, or while traveling. We will have weekly topics for discussion as well as songs, games, video clips, short readings and sharing of apps, podcasts, French entertainment, food, and events. All are welcome but those with at least basic French listening and speaking skills will profit most because this is a FULL PARTICIPATION CLASS!

    This introductory Spanish class is designed to help learners build a strong foundation in the language through engaging and practical activities. Students will learn basic vocabulary, simple grammar, and practice mini conversations to develop everyday communication skills. Key topics include greetings and introductions, vocabulary related to food, travel, and family, and essential sentence structures. The course also incorporates cultural insights to deepen understanding of Spanish-speaking countries. Interactive exercises, group discussions, and real-life scenarios will support confidence-building across listening, reading, a bit of writing—and most importantly, speaking!

    This class builds on the foundation established in the previous session, beginning with a brief review of previously learned material. From there, we’ll expand our vocabulary, reinforce basic grammar, and engage in mini conversations to strengthen communication skills. Key topics include “Mis amigos y yo” (describing yourself and your hobbies), activities you enjoy with friends, and “En la escuela” (school-related vocabulary and expressions). We’ll explore likes and dislikes using the verb gustar, and practice the verb tener along with common tener phrases. Students will gain more experience with pronouns, verb conjugation, sentence structure, and essential grammar fundamentals. Cultural insights will be woven throughout the course to enrich understanding. Interactive activities, group discussions, and real-life scenarios will help build confidence in listening, reading, a bit of writing—and most importantly, speaking!
