Yoga is an ancient system of gentle exercise and breathing techniques that enhance physical well-being. Yoga is well suited to older people because it combines safe, gentle, invigorating stretching exercises with relaxation and introspection, all in a non-competitive atmosphere. Our exercises will consist of gentle stretches and simple movements, which release tension from the neck, shoulders, back, and other areas of the body. Most exercises can be done in a chair or in a comfortable standing position. Section 01 is taught in a chair; mat students are welcome. Section 02 is taught on the floor. Please bring a yoga mat.
