Drawing Animals

Would you like to be able to sketch a somewhat recognizable animal? By exploring the basics of animal features, proportions, and anatomy we'll help you achieve this and also take that a step further to capture the essence of an animal's character. Working from photographs and anatomy books, with charcoal and hard and soft pastels, you will learn drawing techniques that will help you to render shape and proportion as well as conquer eyes, ears, fur, and the overall look of an animal that you choose. Whether abstract or realism is your thing, this class will help you understand how to draw the animal you had in mind.
