The Role of Flash

Flash is a wonderful photographic tool, one you shouldn't be afraid to use. Lighting can communicate moods and emotions as you take pictures at different times of day and in different environments. Direct flash, fill flash, slow sync flash, bounce flash, and front and rear curtain sync are flash modes we'll explore. You do not need to own a flash as this course will educate you to what flash system best serves your lighting needs. Perhaps the biggest take away is that you'll learn how to take flash photos that don't look like "flash photos." We will meet via Zoom.
