Navigating the College Athletic Search and Recruitment Process NEW!

The path to college for a student-athlete starts earlier and is often more complex than the path followed by non-athletes. The student-athlete must not only satisfy the same rigorous academic requirements, he or she must also win the coach's confidence. This two-part course is designed to educate student-athletes and their parents about navigating the college search and recruiting process, most importantly by making sound, fact-based decisions throughout the search period. We will discuss how to identify a student's college preference criteria, recruiting regulations and terminology, how to communicate with coaches, what college coaches are looking for, and more. We will outline academic and athletic action steps for each year of high school, touch on the financial aspects of recruiting, and discuss how to develop and implement an individualized plan. Price is per family.
