Beginning Portuguese  

Portuguese is the language of over two hundred million people in Europe, Asia, and South America. This class is for beginners who have little or no previous knowledge of Portuguese. Emphasis will be placed on listening and speaking skills, so that by the conclusion of the course you will be able to carry on simple conversations with native speakers. The required textbook: Portuguese in 10 Minutes a Day, is available at the Brookline Booksmith or online.
