Make a Moisturizing Lotion or Balm   NEW!

When the weather gets colder it is very important to protect your skin from dryness, chapping rashes, and other imperfections. Learn how to mix essential oils to make the ideal moisturizer for you or to give as a gift. We will discuss which essential oils can treat a variety of skin issues, such as how carrot seed essential oil can ease eczema; how the very vanilla-like balsam of Peru can aid dry skin; and how geranium acts as a natural antiseptic. We will explain different essential oils to learn their healing properties; balance their scents; and mix them into an unscented, natural base lotion, shea butter and/or coconut oil to make a thick night time balm or light daytime lotion. Each lotion or balm will be designed with a gorgeous scent geared toward individual skin type. A $10 materials fee is included in the course fee.
