Mike Dukakis: It's Time to Ask Serious Questions about U.S. National Security Policy

In this evening with former Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis, we'll discuss the current state of our national security. According to the Congressional Budget Office, about one-sixth of federal spending goes to national defense. Each service branch of the U.S. Armed Forces operates bases in the United States and other countries. The Army and Navy have the largest share of overseas bases. We will ask critical questions about the more than 800 U.S. military bases abroad and the impact they have strategically and economically for the security of our nation.
