Calling all parents-to-be! Postpartum and breastfeeding are biologically designed to be a time of rest and recovery. But how do we make space in modern society, for the art of nurturing new parents and their emotional well-being? Join an experienced Parenting Educator/Lactation Counselor to explore secrets of newborn care, the potential for ease with baby-feeding, safe and sane sleeping arrangements, and building a strong village of support, even during times of social distancing. You'll leave this class with helpful tips for understanding how your baby communicates, and how to soothe a newborn. Through group discussion as well as at-home exercises, develop a confident feeling about caring for yourself and your new baby in the postpartum period. All genders and family arrangements welcome! Tuition includes the pregnant person and one support person.
