Mind, Body, Spirit   

A holistic approach to fitness, Mind, Body, Spirit exercises the brain, strengthens the body, and fortifies the spirit. Built on a synthesis of Pilates, Yoga, and dance principles, the class builds core strength and accentuates relaxation and use of breath. Emphasis is placed on the abdominal muscles, and in the process, the entire body. Movement is precise, and at the same time, flowing. Muscles are toned and stretched, leading to improved strength, stamina, posture, flexibility, and a sense of well-being. While a basic exercise lexicon is established, variety is utilized to stimulate mental and physical acuity. Exercises in this class are executed while sitting and laying on a mat. Please have available a cushioned exercise mat and small pillow. Open to all levels.
