Digital Arts: Video Production, Layout and Design, and Tropical Cruise Minecraft • June 28 - July 2 • Ages 8-12 • Lincoln School

Video Production  9:00 am-12:00noon • $198
Create a short movie or commercial script or storyboard, learn about composition, mise-en-scene, directing a crew and actors, and editing your project in WeVideo. You will add titles, sound effects, music, and effects. We'll also add homemade sound effects to your films.
Outdoor Recess and Lunch 12:00-1:00pm  $40

Fun times. You’ll need to bring your own lunch, but we’ll play games and relax together with friends.

Layout and Design: Sketchpad 1:00 pm-2:30pm • $98
Students will not only learn how to use a powerful digital design tool called Sketchpad, which is a free app, but they will learn all the basics of marketing including contrast, color moods, typography, the composition of elements, and more. Students will have a completed poster of their own selling a product or service by the end of the class.

Minecraft: Tropical Cruise  2:30 pm-4:00pm $188
Board the largest cruise ship on earth, the Symphony of the Seas, filled with hidden puzzles, challenging activities, and excitement. Your cruise director will help both newcomers and old timers engage in a multitude of fun activities and go on trips to over 80 famous landmarks.

CyberSummer Program • 8:30 am-4:00 pm • Ages 7-13 • Lincoln School • Jesse Kirdahy
Two-Week Sessions: July 6-16, July 19- 30, August 2-13
Two weeks: $780 • Four weeks: $1,500 

In this activity-filled program, learn to design your own websites filled with your own videos, animations, games, 3D designs and more. Students will create games using drag and drop code with Scratch, or with text based programming languages like JavaScript and Python. Students will design 3D printable objects and art using Tinkercad and sculpting design tools, produce claymation movies using stop motion software on iPads, or create 2D and 3D computer animations using graphical and code based animation techniques. Students will keep a portfolio of their creations using the website they build. Computer games, art time in the scene shop, and outdoor fun and games will round out our varied schedule.

The Shark Tank 1:00 pm-2:15pm • $82
Become an entrepreneur. Pitch a business idea to the class, design a business logo, learn how to create a pitch deck for investors, work with a team to get tasks done, find the best marketing strategy and get a basic understanding of how to manage large amounts of revenue.

Minecraft: Historic Adventures  2:15pm-4:00pm $188
Solve hidden puzzles and secrets in a Minecraft world as you uncover world history through a fictional storyline that includes famous figures like John F. Kennedy and places like the Titanic.

Robot Adventures for ages 10-14
Bot Boizz, BHS Student Instructors
Runkle School 8:30 am - 12:30pm, $300
July 26-30, august 2-6, August 9-13, August 16-20
Taught by the award winning all girl robotics team, "The Bot Boizz," from Brookline High School, your children will enjoy learning about teamwork, while solving problems and using their creativity in coding and building robots to complete tasks using robot kits.
