Legal Terminology   

Learn the fundamentals of legal terminology and its use as it applies to multiple areas of law.

This course takes a practical approach to legal terminology and is perfect for anyone considering law school. You will learn the use of legal terminology as it applies to the federal and state court systems, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Commercial Law, Torts and Personal Injury, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Legal Ethics, Corporations, Contracts, Real Estate, Bankruptcy, Labor and Employment, Wills, Trusts, and Estates.


Hardware Requirements:

  • This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac.

Software Requirements:

  • PC: Windows 8 or later.
  • Mac: macOS 10.6 or later.
  • Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.

Other:

  • Email capabilities and access to a personal email account.
