In this course participants will learn various aspects of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR). Topics may include low voltage wiring, refrigerant recovery, duct fabrication and heat load, and brazing and soldering.
The HVAC Installer course provides hands-on training on how to install heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. You learn proper refrigerant recovery, duct fabrication, low voltage wiring, brazing and soldering. For thos wanting to continue their training, this program is part of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic and Technology Certificate programs. If you enjoy working outside, can identify when something is wrong or about to go wrong, solving problems, working with your hands, and are dependable, this program is for you. Students learn:
