Basic Life Support (BLS)   

Basic Life Support certification prepares healthcare providers and first responders to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and provide choking relief for patients of all ages. The training emphasizes delivering high quality chest compressions, working effectively as a team, and quickly recognizing life threatening emergencies. These skills help improve patient outcomes. BLS certification is typically valid for two years. This will be an American Heart Association (AHA) course.
