This level is for high intermediate students who are ready to study a more academic level of English. They have a high understanding of spoken and written language and are able to understand a large amount of academic and content-specific words and phrases. By the end of this course, students should be able to use all grammar tenses effectively, have better knowledge of high-level vocabulary, analyze material for deeper meaning, deliver oral presentations, write a multi-paragraph essay, and use the college’s online learning management system in a variety of ways.
