    Join us for a summer-themed Welding Workshop!

    This is an opportunity for anyone in the community to create and weld something uniquely special. No welding experience necessary!
     
    All material, equipment, and PPE will be provided. Long sleeve shirts, boots or other closed toed shoes, and jeans are required. No synthetic or athletic wear.

    Whether you are considering a career in welding, have an interest in welding as a hobby, or just want to try it out, this workshop offers participants the opportunity to explore their interest and aptitude in welding for 6 hours in the lab!

    • You will have the option to select two of the following Welding processes: SMAW (Stick Welding), GTAW (TIG welding), GMAW (MIG welding) or FCAW (Dual Shield). 
    • Also select one cutting process: OFC (torch cutting) or PAC (plasma cutting).

    Basic welding materials are included.  Loaner welding gear available. 

     

    Once you enroll in this course, you will receive instructions on how to contact the instructor to arrange meeting times and welding types. Flexible days and times are available and are worked out on an individual basis.
