Join us for a seasonally-themed Welding Workshop!
This is an opportunity for anyone in the community to create and weld something uniquely special. No welding experience necessary! This creative welding class is appropriate for adults and participants ages 16+ with parent/guardian permission.
Long sleeve shirts, boots or other closed toed shoes, and jeans are required. No synthetic or athletic wear. All material and equipment will be provided. Classes are held at CCD's Advanced Manufacturing Center: 2570 31st St, Denver, CO 80216
While at the Advanced Manufacturing Campus, participants engaged in welding workshops may be exposed to bright and flashing lights from welding machines and loud noise from hammering, welding, and cutting equipment. Participants can be exposed to possible burns, cuts, sparks, electric shock, fumes and gases. Participants may work with Oxy - Acetylene torches, band saws, belt sanders, shears, GMAW machines. All participants are provided PPE such as gloves, welders caps, hoods, jackets, and safety glasses.
