    In this three hour training, Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals (LLPs) will explore the applicable Colorado Rules of Evidence in family law matters. This training will provide participants with a mini guide on applicable statutes and rules, common objections and responses to admission of evidence, and how to preserve issues for appeal. Licensed LLPs will be able to earn CLE credits for participating in this training.

    This course provides Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals (LLPs) with a comprehensive understanding of the Colorado Rules of Evidence as applied in family law cases in Colorado. This course is open to LLP candidates and LLPs already in practice.

    This course will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the ethical considerations and challenges that paralegals face in the legal profession in preparation for the Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) Exam.

    This 10 week online course satisfies the required ethics requirement to be eligible to take the LLP exam in November. Upon successful completion of the course, we will notify the Office of LLP Admissions that you have satisfied that requirement. We will also provide you a certificate that you can use as documentation of completion.

    As paralegals, you play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism within the legal field. In this course, we will delve into complex ethical scenarios, dilemmas, and regulations that are pertinent to your role in pursuing the designation of LLP. By the end of this course, you will have gained a deeper insight into ethical decision-making, the code of professional conduct that you will be required to follow, and practical strategies for maintaining ethical integrity in your work.
