Many faculty prefer to use live synchronous sessions to be able to connect with their entire classes at one time. Zoom is a web-based video conferencing tool with a local, desktop client and a mobile app that allows users to meet online, with or without video. Zoom users can choose to record sessions, collaborate on projects, and share or annotate on one another's screens, all with one easy-to-use platform. CCU's Zoom Pro accounts are now available for students, faculty and staff through a university site license. This class will introduce users to the basics of accessing, setting up, and using Zoom to create synchronous online meetings.
Within 24-hours after you register, you will receive an email with information on how to access the class.
