This week we'll be doing And the Soul Shall Dance, written by Wakako Yamauchi, a Japanese-American woman whose family was interned during WWII. We'll be discussing the actions that led to the internment of American citizens of Japanese descent at the time, and reading a play on her personal accounts of being a first generation American.
