Classroom Observations

Classroom Observations

Why invite an instructional coach to your class?

CeTEAL's approach to classroom observations follows a peer-observation model. Faculty from around campus volunteer to serve as instructional coaches, along with CeTEAL staff, to perform classroom observations. Each instructional coach is certified in a series of evidence-based observation protocols and practices.

CeTEAL's classroom observations are strength-based and founded on our desire to help faculty members improve their teaching. Having an instructional coach visit your classroom can help you to recognize your strengths and areas of improvement. Instructional Coaches are also available to watch recorded teaching sessions.

To arrange for a classroom observation, fill out the instructional coaching form indicating
