This class will be all about risk. Many people like to take about returns, but it is risk that you can also manage. We will examine how to assess risk in your investments, estate plan, and general financial life. Most people avoid risk because they don’t understand it or how to quantify it. In today’s world, understanding risk can be more important that which mutual fund, crypto, or stock you want to pick. You have to take some risk and give up on something for every financial decision you make. We will explore how to assess what’s important, what’s not, and most importantly WHY.

Medicare, the federal insurance plan for seniors, provides healthcare coverage for Americans 65 and older. Although it’s the most widely used health insurance plan in the United States, Medicare never fails to confuse many pre-retirees and retirees. This course will attempt to demystify Medicare; further, it will identify the various components of the Healthcare System and how they interact with the Medicare Program. Michael Carbrey is not an insurance agent and will not direct anyone to any particular insurance program. Instead, he will help you understand some of your options.
