A Day in the Life of a Pond

A Study in the Cooperation of the Fittest. How can so many species live and thrive on such a limited resource as a pond? In essence - species have learned how to share. Kate will take the class through the many ways that species have developed in order to get along. She will then take us through parts of the Gardens to introduce us to the indigenous species growing there and explain how many have been used throughout Florida's development. Join Kate afterwards for lunch to ask questions and discuss class topics.
