Micropropagation: Year Round Indoor Gardening
NEW!
Plant tissue culture (micropropagation) involves the growth of plant parts in a sterile environment for the purpose of mass production. Using a microwave oven or a pressure cooker, supplies found in your kitchen, plus supplies provided at this workshop, you can mass propagate hundreds of your favorite plants in your kitchen or classroom. In this workshop you will make your own media, assemble a “clean box”, disinfect and culture plant leaves, axillary buds and seeds, and discuss trouble shooting and resources.
