19th Amendment: Women's Suffrage
On June 4, 1919, Congress passed the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote. It would take over a year to ratify. Who were the important players on the road to victory? Celebrate herstory 100 years later to the day! Discover the brave women who led the final lap to victory, including Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and 20th century suffragists, including master strategist Carrie Chapman Catt. Learn about the radical movement led by Alice Paul and Lucy Burns and the breakup into different factions who disagreed on tactics and goals.
