Rhythm: Making the Most Out of Time    NEW!

Rhythm is the most physical part of music, grounding us in action and gesture. In this course, you will learn the practice and notation of Western rhythm inside and out. With two hundred listening examples from Beethoven to Broadway, you will be able to play rhythms and meter with no prior musical training. This is also an excellent course for musicians who wish to improve their rhythm. Get set to clap, rap, and compose your own music. Students receive access to Breaking Barlines, an online music theory course created by the instructor.
