Learn the concepts and principles of adult home management. Examine the roles and responsibilities of a licensed provider, the licensing process, business operations of the home, staff management, resident care issues, and resident rights. Students will be assessed on their proficiency prior to the start of class in English, reading, writing, and math. You must have a 6th grade level (ABE 3) in English and a 4th grade Level (ABE 2) in math. Basic computer skills are also required including accessing the internet, MS Word and MS Excel.
