An introduction to key legal principles, landmark cases, and policies that have shaped tribal rights, it offers historical context and critical insight into how these laws continue to impact Native communities today

      Have you ever wanted to take your watercolors to the next level?  Or maybe you would like to loosen up and find a fresh way to approach watercolor.  Over the course of two days, students will be guided through various, unconventional watercolor techniques and tools in order to create interesting results.  Some of the techniques we will experiment with include salt, sponges, plastic wrap, decorative spider webs, and more! This is a 2 day workshop.

      Join us for a creative and hands-on workshop focused on crafting unique beaded and charm bracelets with local jewelry artist Sarah of Copper Fairy Gems. Learn how to create your own customized bracelets using both simple wire, and beading techniques. In this hands-on workshop, you'll be guided on how to select and connect charms, as well as how to create your own gemstone charms for a personalized bracelet. Then you'll design and create your own beaded bracelet, learning both stringing techniques and how to securely finish your design with pre-made or custom clasps. Whether you're new to jewelry making or looking to expand your skills, you'll leave with 2 handcrafted bracelets and the confidence to keep creating. Materials kit is supplied and tools will be available to use during the workshop.

      In this 2 day workshop, will walk you through the painting process step by step in order to create a realistic barn with rustic textures and colors.  We will start from the drawing process and go all the way through to the end of the finished painting.  The focus of this class will be learning how to draw and paint what you see while also learning how to enhance the image.

      Dive into energized journaling techniques to connect with your highest inner self. Learn new styles and artful skills to transform journaling from merely reviewing past experiences to embodying and empowering your present and future experiences.

      Please bring a pen, paper, notebook, or a laptop. Art supplies are highly recommended, such as colored pencils, crayons, pens, water colors, or stickers. Last of all, select a poem, song lyrics, famous speech or document that inspires you.
