This course provides the full 75 hours of DSHS-approved Basic Training required to qualify for the Washington State Home Care Aide certification exam through Prometric. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a DSHS-approved Basic Training certificate and may choose to receive a college transcript reflecting a Pass/No Pass grade for a non-credit course.
Attendance is mandatory for all 75 hours of training. Certification exam and DOH application fees are not included in the course cost.
Prior to Registering: If you are looking for funding, please visit your local WorkSource office to inquire about the WIOA program.We cannot accept any form of federal finacial aid or funding processed through filing a FAFSA or WAFSA. You do not need to apply to the college for these courses. This course is on Washington's Eligible Training Provider List.
