One of the best ways to save time and reduce stress when working with Moodle classes is to create a stress-free Moodle gradebook. In this session, we will look at the best practices for building a streamlined gradebook that is easy to manage and easy for students to understand. We will navigate the Moodle gradebook, learn to build the basic gradebook components, review simple gradebook calculations, discuss the grading options that work best in Moodle.

This session introduces faculty to some of the advanced tools in Moodle, including management tools for tracking and reporting student activity; advanced activities and resources such as interactive modules, peer review tools, specialized blocks; and advanced features of some of the basic Moodle tools. This workshop will demonstrate example uses for these advanced tools along with recommended best practices.
