This course provides comprehensive coverage of the core topics required for the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technicians (NRRPT) exam, including radiation physics, health physics principles, radiation detection and instrumentation, biological effects of radiation, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety standards. Note that at least five years of relevant experience is required to take the NRRPT exam. This class has mandatory online attendance via Zoom at the days and times shown. Students are expected to log in and participate online during the scheduled class time.
This course will also focus on practical application and problem solving techniques essential for the NRRPT exam.
