This course is an introductory course to gain basic fundamentals of Civil 3D interface, to know how to work with styles, points, surfaces, horizontal alignments, vertical profiles, parcels, site grading, corridors, and pipe networks. This course will prepare the student on a basic level to use the software to aid in drafting infrastructure projects. Lectures and demonstrations will be a portion of the course along with working on course work exercies.
Prerequisites:
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or experience with AutoCAD
- Understanding of civil engineering and surveying terminology
