ADVANCED STUDIES: TABLEWARE DESIGN

You MUST receive permission to register for this class. This class is designed for advanced level students ONLY who are interested in developing a cohesive body of work. The class will culminate with an exhibition in the gallery. Imagine your table ready for dinner, arrayed with beautiful dishes created by you. After looking at a variety of examples from around the globe, and honing in on a distinct personal style, students will be challenged to design and execute a cohesive set of tableware. You will explore shape, weight, motif, physics, and much more as you begin to develop your own voice.
