We love to introduce young people to the sheer joy of creating craft. Children and teens develop their ideas at their own pace in our supportive studio environment. They learn concrete skills and techniques to make pottery, metal jewelry, metal sculpture, baskets, papier mache sculpture, and more.
When children engage in the craft making process, they develop artistic skills, as well as problem solving, critical thinking and social skills. Many craft projects require the use of math skills, and children become articulate communicators as they learn to describe their ideas to the instructor so that the idea can be come reality.
