Exploring the "T" in LGBTQ+    NEW!

Transgender individuals are becoming more and more open about their identities; as this happens the cultural climate of clinical work with the LGBTQ+ population has shifted to include discussion of not just sexuality, but also Gender Identity.

This course will explore the specifics of gender identity and how it differs from sexual preference, and the risks this population faces and what options are currently available to transgender individuals seeking to transition to match their identified gender.

This program is designed for individuals who frequently work with the LGBTQ+ population, individuals placed in hospital settings who may be exposed to HRT, hormone blocking and top/bottom surgeries, as well as anyone seeking to generally increase their knowledge of this population.
