This course will examine what the general standards are for prenatal care in the “normal” population and how care managers can directly affect outcomes in this population, as part of the health care team. Because in the last 5 years many of the previously routine evaluations and exam components have been challenged, and standards have experienced increased scrutiny, modifications in standards based on current evidence have transpired.
