Ethical Considerations in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Dementia and Other Neurocognitive Disorders   NEW!

Recent changes in DSM-5 and the prospect of a diagnostic test for certain types of dementia markers require mental health professionals to understand current research and think ethically about what we do and do not know about dementias. This workshop provides an overview on the diagnosis and treatment of what are called Neurocognitive Disorders in the DSM-5.

This workshop will review the current research on diagnosing dementias, current treatments across neurocognitive domains, and a summary of the efficacy of preventive strategies.
