
Taught by the wonderful faculty of the CWU Brooks Library, Teaching Digital Citizenship is an online course worth 3 Clock Hours. This course is offered through Canvas and consists of four online modules, embedded videos, and final.
Through this course, participants will learn how to access free resources for use in the classroom and for student research. Learn about research strategies, examine pedagogic trends, and identify resources for the latest techniques on teaching research. Content will include strategies for evaluating information sources, instructional best practices for teaching evaluation skills, and places to look for reliable information. Techniques for teaching how to avoid plagiarism will also be discussed.
