Oil Painting for Beginners

One need not be an “Old Master” to enjoy using oil paint. Oil paints are the most versatile and the most forgiving of all the mediums available. This class is designed to demonstrate those qualities and serve as a foundation structure for your beginning art practice. Using traditional and non-traditional methods students will explore the basic principles of painting with an emphasis on mixing color and value.
